On 2 December 2011 the VFM Mutual Fund AG & Co. KG, a self-managed investment company for qualified investors established in the legal form of a limited partnership, was taken over from the previous management company by VFM Mutual Fund AG in the capacity of lead manager.
VFM Mutual Fund AG, a wholly owned subsidiary of Valartis Fund Management (Liechtenstein) AG, is in charge of the investment company and acts as its executive general partner. To assume this function it was endowed with CHF 500,000 of its own share capital and entered in the Liechtenstein Public Register on 1 December 2011.
The investment company invests the subscribers’ assets in American life insurance policies ("life settlements") and thus offers a product that has very little correlation with the financial markets.
